Due to young people being involved in the highest percentage of collisions in the UK it is important that we explore hazard perception and safety in intricate detail and focus on safe practices to alleviate potential dangers.
Our workshops for Key Stage 5 are based on an hour’s lesson time, which can be selected to work around the students timetables, as one of the following:
Year 12/13 – Safer Driving Tips
In this workshop we investigate the four main causes of road collisions: speeding, mobile phone use (distraction), seatbelts and impaired driving. We educate the students on each cause in turn and the steps that can be implemented to avoid these hazards, keeping safety and best practices at the forefront.
