This November, for the first time since its inception, Via exhibited at the highlight of the highways industry’s annual calendar, Highways UK.
The show, which took place at the Birmingham NEC looks to bring together passionate and dedicated organisations like Via, who are responsible for planning, developing, managing, maintaining, and future-proofing the nation’s roads.
Over the course of the 2nd and 3rd of November, and amongst the 200 other exhibitors, Via was on hand to provide expert and specialist advice to other businesses and attendees, in areas such as Ecology, EMD and Noise Assessment Surveying. Via was also able to offer advice regarding the maintenance, design, construction and training in a wide range of highways disciplines, in conjunction with a positive public sector service ethos.
The wider focus of the event was around innovation and sustainability and as such it provided an opportunity for Nottinghamshire County Council’s Cabinet Member for Transport and Environment, Councillor Neil Clarke MBE, and Environment Ambassador, Councillor Mike Adams, to see some of the latest products and services in the industry first-hand.
Via’s Head of Communications, Chris Wiseman, said: “Highways UK is one of the biggest highways events in the country and our attendance was great opportunity to show what Via can deliver.
“The show gave people an opportunity to come and ask questions and meet our team, but also for us to meet other companies and individuals across the industry, finding synergies and even showing what we can offer as an employer.”
