What is Pre-Driver Training?
New Format: Two Half-Day Courses
We are now offering half-day courses at a cost of £45 + VAT per session. Each session will include the chance to drive with an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI), a stopping distance demonstration, and a series of informative workshops on essential driving topics. Delivered in partnership with Nottinghamshire County Council, this course for 15-17 year olds provides essential first-hand experience and knowledge for young drivers in a controlled and supportive environment.
What do I need to bring on the day?
Young people need an adult to sign for them, when being dropped off – so bring your adult with you, they don’t need to stay all day, just to sign you in.
- Good shoes for driving in and standing outside in. Heels don’t work!
- Clothing suitable for the weather as some demonstrations are outside.
- We will provide refreshments during the session’s break.
- Any glasses you may use for either reading or distance.
- You DO NOT need a provisional licence to take part in this activity.
- We provide hi-vis jackets for Young people to wear a whilst they are taking part in the day.
