Bikeability is a national cycle training programme for children aged 5-16. It is designed to help children develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to ride safely on the roads.

The partner of choice for engineering services
Bikeability contains three modules:

Bikeability Level 1: This module is designed for children aged 5-8 and teaches them the basics of cycling, such as how to balance, steer and brake.

Bikeability Level 2: This module is designed for children aged 9-11 and builds on the skills learned in Bikeability 1, teaching children how to ride in traffic and how to deal with hazards

Bikeability Level 3: This module is designed for children aged 11 and above and teaches children how to ride in more challenging situations, such as on busy roads and in built-up areas.
The Bikeability programme is funded by the Department for Transport and is delivered by us on behalf of Nottinghamshire County Council as an accredited Bikeability provider.
