About the Via Training Centre
Formally the Nottinghamshire County Council’s Highways Training Centre, we have been delivering courses for over 40 years, training thousands of delegates from Nottinghamshire, the East Midlands and beyond. We have a strong track-record of working with local authorities and private companies across Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, South Yorkshire and Staffordshire, creating training programmes that meet the needs of staff development plans.
Our fully qualified trainers bring a wealth of industry knowledge and experience into the classroom to provide credible training courses for your staff.
Conveniently located in the heart of the East Midlands in Nottinghamshire which is easily accessible from all major routes. The training centre has classroom facilities, a large purpose-built practical training ground, on-site subsidised café and ample free parking.
Accreditations
Via is an organisation that prides itself on quality and delivering to recognised standards, and the same applies to the Via Training Centre. Via has successfully achieved a series of accreditations that reflect these commitments. This includes ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) all of which are accredited through the British Standards Institution (BSI).
The training centre is a member of the Highway Construction Training Association and we are proud to be approved to offer courses which are accredited and certified by SQA, City & Guilds, NOCN, HESA and HCTA.
We are proud to be a member of The 5% Club. The goal of the Club is to increase the employment and career prospects of today’s youth and equip the UK with the skilled workforce it needs. Members commit to achieve 5% of their UK workforce in ‘earn and learn’ positions (apprenticeship, graduate schemes or sponsored students) within 5 years of joining.
